We the people demand an end to unconstitutional laws such as the Patriot Act and the NDAA, which undermine American civil liberties and freedoms. These laws brought changes in law enforcement by allowing our federal government to spy on citizens, arrest and detain citizens indefinitely without trial, and monitor their activities in order to discern whether or not someone is a terrorist.
These laws are meant to protect the American public from terrorists threats abroad but strip away our freedoms. As Ben Franklin stated, “Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.”
These terrorists seek to destroy and change america, and although we are wining on the battlefield, they are beating us mentally here in our homeland.
