Superdelegates exist, to quote Debbie Wasserman Schulz, "to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don't have to be in a position where they are running against grass-roots activists." In other words, to prevent movements by the people from usurping the power of the establishment. This goes against the core ideals of the Constitution and the founding of America itself.
Therefore, We the People of the United States hereby petition President Barack Obama to have the Democratic Party end this unfair and anti-American system.
