end the unfair machine gun restrictions infringing on the 2nd amendment only the rich or govt can afford to own one

1. This petition is because I would like to own a machine gun without sacrificing my life savings. Machine guns are still available to be owned legally, any that were purchased or manufactured by civilians and registered prior to 1986. However current legislation has created a limited supply and caused the price for collectors to sky rocket and now only the well to do can afford to own one and they are the older models. The criminal element of society already have them and have no intention of ever obeying the laws that are on the books. Clearly these restrictions only affect good citizens who obey them and have no intention of commiting crimes with them.
