End unfair telecommunications company practices: Early termination fees, auto-renew clauses, lack of service guarantee.

Created by R.T. on March 01, 2013

Telecommunications companies including Sprint, Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon have passively colluded to create a hostile and unfair environment for customers. The detailed of their contracts allow for massive early termination fees regardless of the reason a customer my choose to discontinue service. Also there are many contracts that have auto-renew clauses that make it difficult to time the exit of a contract. Comcast, for example, charges a 75% early termination fee--75% of the entire contract duration. So, while they do not guarantee service quality, they guarantee they will collect 75% of the contract value! Comcast also automatically renews a contract unless a 60 day notice is given at least 30 days prior to contract end. This is confusing by design. End unfair telecom contracts!
