Proclamation 3447, enacted by Congress under President John F. Kennedy, served a distinct purpose in it's time: to limit financial power when Cuba posed a credible threat to the national security of the United States of America.
That time is over.
Let's tell Congress to repeal proclamation 3447, allow Cuba to be included in NAFTA (or its pending revision), and help Cuban people enjoy the full benefits of an unencumbered market as they transition from the old regime.
