We are using acts of war against Pakistan, but we are not at war. We are creating an environment of fear and hatred of the United States, which ultimately does more harm than good to the goal of homeland security.
In our efforts to fight terror, we have become masters of inspiring terror ourselves. We have become the thing we feared. There is no excuse for killing children and civilians. Calling them "casualties" or "accidents" does not bring them back to their families. We may be saving American lives, but at the cost of our integrity, and the lives of innocents in Pakistan. Are the lives of our children worth more than theirs?
We are in the wrong. End the drone strikes.
