End the U.S. Embargo on Cuba

Created by O.E. on December 28, 2012

Americans can travel anywhere they want. Even though we are at war with Afghanistan, we can still travel there. Even though the Korean War isn't officially over, we can still travel to North Korea.
Why is it that Americans can't travel to Cuba? What threat is Cuba to the United States? Why punish it for actions committed 50 years ago? In Germany, 70 years ago, under the control of the Nazi's, 6 million Jews were murdered and its invasion of Poland caused World War II, but people are free to travel there. China, a country that forces political prisoners to build consumer goods for export, has solid and extensive economic relations with America. Why are we punishing Cuba, when other countries have done much worse?
