The People to People travel to Cuba has let ordinary Americans visit Cuba and engage with it's people in a very personal way. For the People of Cuba, time has stood still since the "Triumph of the Revolution" with an especially difficult decade when the Soviet Union collapsed and they were abandoned. Since then, Venezuela has been their primary ally and supporter. The Cuban People live on rations of rice, beans, oil, sugar... They repair and maintain automobiles and machinery from the 1950s and employ horse and buggy to plow the fields and for transpiration. These Cuban People are peaceful, kind, and generous. It is time we returned their love. With the political uncertainty in Venezuela, we have an opening. End the Embargo. Open the door to Travel and Trade.
