End The US Embargo On Cuba. President Obama's enduring legacy should be ending the 50+ cold war failed embargo.

Created by B.R. on October 13, 2014

President Obama has the authority to restore diplomatic ties with Cuba. The opportunity for U.S. economic growth far out weighs the embargo's intentions of the 60's cold war era. By fully engaging in talks with our 90 mile neighbor true reform and change is possible.
In 1987 President Ronald Reagan challenged Mr. Gorbachev to "Tear down this wall" built in 1961 the same year that the U.S. began sanctions against Cuba. President Obama has the ability, now, to be remembered as the President who ended the last remaining "cold war" relic that is the failed embargo against Cuba. The generation of Cuban-Americans who supported the embargo is replaced with those of us who want it lifted. This will be a topic at election time and the party implementing a change now will be successful.
