Over the past 11 years, over 50,000 Mexican citizens have died in the crossfire between warring drug cartels competing to satisfy the insatiable desire Americans have for drugs, marijuana in particular. The cartels exist solely because prohibition makes drug peddling extremely lucrative. End the drug war, save lives and put the cartels out of business. Innocents abroad should not pay the price for the foolish behavior of American citizens. Prohibition does not work!
