Euthanasia of shelter animals by carbon monoxide or dioxide chambers is still legal in far too many states. This is wildly unacceptable and inhumane, not to mention inefficient. Lethal injection is less dangerous, less costly, and much less traumatizing for not only the animals, but the shelter workers themselves.
These types of injustices to animals needs to stop, what does it say about America's morals if we are cruel to those who are at our disposal?
