end the use of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide gas chambers to euthanize animals, pls make illegal in all 50 states.

Petition requests that all states have in place laws that protect animals at shelters from being euthanized by carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide gas chambers. Chambers of this type should be outlawed across the United States. This is cruel to any animal and their death is neither slow or painless. Many animals have to be gassed multiple times before an animal finally succumbs to death. It takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes for the several animals crammed into the boxes that go inside the gassing container to die. These animals will gasp and cry, urinate and defecate all over themselves and the other animals. As the air has been replaced with the poison gasses, animals begin panicking and are frantically trying to find a way out. to no avail. Please support this cause - thank you!!
