We would like to stop switching back and forth between Standard Time (ST) and Daylight Savings Time (DST). Instead, we would prefer to choose either the one or the other and stick with it all year. Making the switch twice a year disrupts sleep patterns and complicates scheduling and other time-keeping activities unnecessarily. Additionally, given that we spend only three months on Standard Time (early November to early March) and given that the United States no longer is primarily agrarian in nature, switching makes even less sense. Staying permanently on either ST or DST will simplify our lives considerably.
