There are many studies that show that the use of offensive Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Pakistan are not a progressive movement in the goal to end terrorism, but a hindrance of peace. The Bureau of Investigative Journalism have produced a study that the result of drone strikes in Pakistan from 2004-2012, arrived at a death toll of 2,570–3,337
deaths, which indicated an average of 7.4 to 9.6 people killed per strike. 2% of these casualties are of HPTs (High Priority Targets). I urge that we take action towards these innocent lives being taken in this indirect move towards peace.
