End the use of plea bargains in federal criminal prosecutions.

Created by C.D. on April 21, 2016

Innocent individuals may rather take plea bargains accepting sanctions for crimes they didn't commit rather than face the prospect of trial and more harsh sanctions. Plea bargains may disproportionately harm racial minorities as the justice system is known to have racial biases. Additionally, plea bargains allow those truly culpable to evade justice. These results are not worth the efficient plea bargains purpose to promote.
