The United States presently conducts its' wars with the assistance of private contractors who do everything from cooking to killing. Once thought to save the Department of Defense money, the practice of having non-military personnel perform many of the functions in the war theater has added dramatically to the defense budget through abuse and over-charges. We believe, if we must go to war, it to be in the best interests of the country that all aspects of a campaign be carried out by military personnel as opposed to private interests.
