End the use of private prisons to incarcerate suspected undocumented immigrants.

Created by J.E. on February 28, 2013

Private Prisons are a very expensive way to house our undocumented immigrants. We are spending over $120 a day to house these undocumented immigrants and while this is happening these prisons are pressuring our government to give them more "stock." This has created a moral hazard where it is in the best interest of these prisons to pressure our government to lock up many harmless undocumented immigrants at the expense of the tax payer. So they consistently lobby and pressure for stricter policy with no concern for the family's of the immigrants or what is best for our country. It is also morally wrong for people to make money incarcerating people who mostly are looking for a better opportunity.
