end use of statistical profiling and preemptive drone attacks; such actions parallel killing of Trayvon Martin.

Created by D.J. on July 14, 2013

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Many people are saddened that the death of an innocent young man, who was profiled, confronted, and ultimately killed will never go punished.

As I reflected on how such a thing can be happen in the U.S., I was hit by the fact that we follow the same pattern as the now free George Zimmerman in our "War on Terrorism." We have moved to policies of pre-emptive lethal strikes based on profiling that is causing significant collateral death and injury.

If we as a nation continue to use a policy of profiling and lethal force via drones, circumventing any justice system, how can we not expect more citizens to do the same. Please set a strong example and have the courage to end our current drone warfare. Too many innocents are dying!
