During the 2012 election, Tennessee required a very specific form of photo identification from those registering to vote. Court cases were filed in an attempt to relieve citizens who were victimized by this requirement. Tennessee did not relent, although it was shown that there was no constitutional rule requiring such identification. In addition, the voting machines used are Diebold. Those machines are of questionable ownership, and have been faulty over a number of years, but not repaired sufficiently to service the entire voting population. Please investigate this and help us, so that all voters in Tennessee can have confidence in our voting process and it will not continue to be a hollow effort for those who need redress.
