Our military veterans deserve our appreciation and everything we promised them when they signed on to defend our country. When a returning veteran applies for needed benefits, the response needs to be prompt. We are talking about 1 million applications that are being held up for as much as a year or more. This is unacceptable.
We ask the President to act immediately to find new leadership who can correct this ineffective system, hire additional processors to expedite these claims and end the Veteran's Administration backlog right away.
