End Violent Video Games and Psychiatric Drug Use Under The Age of 18

Created by J.V. on December 15, 2012

Many countries, recently Russia, have banned the sale of violent video games. Search the internet and you will find numerous studies link violent behavior to exposure to violent video games. Children become violent when they are "programmed" by continuously viewing horrific images. There is no moral message and a total lack of respect for life.No wonder the use of psychiatric drugs by children is on the rise. I cannot imagine something more damaging to a child's mind than despicable images and the use of mind altering drugs to "treat" them after viewing violence for hours at a time. I recommend a total ban of both violent videos and psychiatric meds given to children and teens until more studies have been done. We have seen the results of this combination with mass shootings in the news.
