With the VFX industry crumbling how many more sectors need to fall before the issue of Labor Reform is taken seriously? We must protect our domestic workers from foreign job-sniping:
- Extend existing labor laws to cover individual Contractors across all sectors. Corps are contracting the bulk of their workforce to avoid taxes and compliance with laws.
- End Wage Theft by holding CEOs and managing partners financially responsible for unpaid wages (even if they close their companies to evade laws).
- Require a healthy contractor to full-time employee ratio across all sectors. Tax companies according to where their workforce is rather than the corp's income.
- Abolish corp income tax entirely for companies with 100% of their workforce based in the US.
