End the War in Afghanistan.

Created by C.H. on November 14, 2012

Mr. President,

The War on Terror is a war on an idea and belief. The true problem is that an idea can never die it can only be stifled until the embers are blown on again to light the fire. Continuing the war in Afghanistan only adds more fuel to the flame. What is important now is that our nation reevaluates our foreign policy and comprehension of eastern culture and thought processes.

After a decade of war, sacrifice, and bloodshed it is time to end the war in Afghanistan. It is important that this is done through treaties and agreements by NATO forces, Afghan Forces and the Taliban insurgency.

War has never been won by the total destruction of an enemy force and will not be won that way either. It is imperative to have open treaty discussions to end this long war.
