It is overlooked at the fact that this war has been going on for almost 11 years, now becoming the longest war in American history (well actually it's not a "war" because the United States has not been at war since WWII). We have over-stepped our boundaries numerous times in the past, and this conflict, I and many Americans believed in it before. But, continual accounts of US soldiers losing their lives, as politicians argue and debate over who is going to win the election, is unacceptable and frankly irresponsible. There is no reason to continue this war overseas with a populace who has been and never will be accepting of American help or American institutions. This should cause us to ask for the immediate removal of US forces in Afghanistan. For what reason now do our soldiers die?
