We need to end war. As a country, we must lead by example, and if we truly want to promote peace, we must do so in our foreign actions and policies. Killing only breeds more hatred and death, no matter if it is done in "self defense" or as a malicious act. We must act peacefully if we are to be treated peacefully.
Our wars of "defense" are also costing the tax payer's money for things that they do not necessarily believe in. We believe that all human life is sacred and should be treated as such. By paying our taxes every citizen becomes complicit in this country's killing. The time for us to act is now, not 10 or 20 years in the future. We must END WAR and LEAD THE WORLD BY EXAMPLE.
