The time has come to recognize the science acknowledging drug addiction as a chronic, relapsing disease and re-think the entirety of this 'War on Drugs'. Effort needs to be made on -truly- fixing this problem, not dodging the very heart of it!
Why is it whenever we don't like something we have to declare war on it, why is it we deny countless scientists asking the United States and the United Nations to end this failed War on Drugs?
Drug addiction is a sickness and they need help, not punishing and shunning them from society as non-violent criminals.
