End the "War on Drugs"

The “War on Drugs” has proven itself to be a failure, and a waste of taxpayer money. US drug eradication efforts in the last 40 years have only served to grow the power of foreign criminal organizations and swell US prisons with non-violent drug offenders, without significantly affecting the availability of drugs in the US. The “war” is a detriment to the US and to the rest of the world, and a waste of taxpayer money.
