End the "War on Drugs" and create a policy that actually is beneficial to the American People and not a waste of money.

The "War on Drugs" is not a war. War's end, and since the beginning on time people have sought out mind altering substances. The appetite of people is not going to change because something is illegal. The cartels are becoming extremely powerful, criminals across the country are becoming wealthy off the drug trade. Anywhere one might travel in the United States of America, drugs will be available. For a war that is going on 30+ years, this does not seem to be a success. I am not advocating for drug legalization, I am advocating for a reform to our drug policy. I will leave it up to the people to decide what is best. The current policy is a complete failure, and in no way could anyone argue that it is a success. We do not deserve to live with failed policies in this great nation.
