end the " War on Drugs" that disproportionatly incarcerate African Americans, Latinos, and low encome people.

As an African American I think it time to end the War on Drugs because it has destroyed so many lives on some many levels! The loss of life is the main priority as men, women, and children are dying because of the United States drug policy. Since the inception of the drug policy incarceration rates have sky-rocketed to the tune of millions of people over the last two decades. Families are struggling and are force to live in poverty without knowledge of the system's role in their way of life. The murder rate will continue to grow as a result of failed drug policies. Ex-offenders will not be able to find gainful employment because a record that will be attached to them for life. The recidivism rate and unemployment will remain elevated without an intervention to end this devastating atrocity
