End the war on video games by politicians and media who most likely have not played a video game in their life.

Created by R.R. on February 02, 2013

Ever since the recent shootings, members of Congress, the NRA, and some members of the media have begun to scapegoat video games as way to avoid proper discussion on the Second Amendment and mental health. As time has gone on people always blame failures on the biggest thing at the moment, which happens to be video games currently; this is understandable. However, this is unfair to the largest entertainment industry in the world and there has been no significant evidence that links video games to violence. Why not also go after books, television, music, and movies to be fair? The video game industry does the best job of policing itself with specific ratings for age groups; if a child is playing an inappropriate game, then that is the fault of the parent/guardian. Please end the war now.
