Our country could save billions if we closed our overseas military bases. If we ended our wars we would save billions more. It is time to base our solders in our own country. We don’t need to maintain foreign military bases when we can transport troops to any area of conflict. We would have better protection if we had our military in our own country. We maintain hundreds of military bases in most of the nations of the world. If we closed the bases we would have thousands of troops in our country for national disasters and defense of our shores. The cost of our military would remain in our economy instead in the economy of hundreds of foreign governments.
