Much talk about saving the national budget has been directed at cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, NPR, NASA, and various social welfare programs that benefit American citizens.
On the other hand, trillions of taxpayer dollars have been poured into wars in the Middle East, but to what end? We killed Saddam and Osama. Mission accomplished.
At the same time, on the domestic front, millions of Americans are struggling to make ends meet. And our government is fumbling as it attempts to finance our recovery. The answer is simple.
It's time for the madness to end. Tell our leaders to stop wasting our taxpayer money on the Middle East. Bring our troops and our tax dollars back home.
