We are better off spending the money rebuilding The United States of America. The islamic extremists don't hate us because we're rich and free. They hate us because we've been meddling in their countries for decades. This costly and deadly cycle will continue if our foreign policy is not changed. We could spend another 50 years chasing the Taliban, and they'll still be there. How many trillions must we spend? It is not our duty to implement democracy around the world, nor should it be. Bring our troops & contractors home - and use the money to pay off the debt and create jobs here at home.
