End the waste of American taxes on Prison and Prisoners Instead have them work for the community to pay off their bail

Why are we spending all our tax money on Criminals and Convicts? All they do is sit in prison, get out and go back to prison.
Instead we have a large supply of labor, we should give them the option of joining the millitary, working to pay off their bail, doing community service, and more constructive things besides killing each other.
It is a waste of taxes, and it wouldn't be if they got the opportunity to do something.
