It has become clear in recent weeks that this petition program is little more than a pathetic attempt to make the citizens feel like they are being heard without actually doing anything to address or rectify any of the issues facing the U.S. The responses from the Obama Administration have been vague and irrelevant at best. Stop wasting taxpayer money pretending to care about the people. We, the people, thought we could actually participate in democracy by contributing to petitions and voicing our concerns. The joke's on us. Please end the program before any more taxpayer money is wasted.
