The citizens of the US need to be represented by fellow Americans who truly represent the constituents, and not the companies who lobby them. The Representatives and Senators need to be limited to 2 terms in office just as the President is.
This will eliminate a conglomerate of special interest groups from dominating the government, and will allow for better opportunities for all people of the country.
Too many current elected officials who have been in office for several years seem to do as they please without worry for repercussions. This will help eliminate the stagnate personal most have with elected officials.
The only way to make America prosperous again is to put government back in the hands of the People, hold the officials more accountable, and rotate officials quicker.
