I am lucky to live in the Unites States, as we all are. I wake up on Sunday and can attend mass without the fear of being killed for my creed. My creed that teaches me to love and respect all who walk on this earth and teaches nothing but love and kindness. Across the world in Egypt, my Coptic Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters aren’t as lucky as me. They walk with the pride of their faith and fear no evil as our religion has taught us and continue to love and forgive, but one can no longer turn a blind eye onto the Coptic Orthodox genocide that is happening in Egypt. I ask my Congress to kill all foreign aid to Egypt until President El Sisi steps up and gives all churches and monasteries of the Christian faith full military protection.
