We, the People of the United States of America need a permanent & retroactive fixed interest rate for federal student loans at 0.75% to 2%, and take the decision power away from the partisan politicians in Congress, who have not shown the leadership necessary to help resolve this crisis. At this moment, college graduates are looking forward to spending the next 30 years repaying thousands of dollars for degrees that were supposed to propel them into the middle class. Struggling to repay the outrageous monthly fees that can't be discharged have effectively locked a generation out of the American Dream. Some are either been driven to live overseas or have committed suicide. This abusive, bullying tactic of playing roulette with American lives has to stop!
