Currently, there are no term limits for United States Senators or Representatives. It is our belief that serving in the United States Congress should be an Honor, not a career choice; members who serve multiple terms are more interestested in maintaining status quo to benefit themselves rather than the people they represent. Not only will Implementing term limits will allow fresh ideas and fresh people to enter into the congressional arena, but it will more likely prevent gerrymandering and open the political fields.
