Endorse this comprehensive plan to heal our political system which gives the electorate more choices and reduces apathy

There is only one thing that people of every political persuasion can agree on is that our current polarized two-party system is divisive and counterproductive. Our leaders will pay lip service to "bipartisan efforts" without dealing with a serious underlying problem that can eventually ruin this country through gridlock or worse. The central thesis of this petition is that the reason why so many "independent voters" exist and the reason for the large amount of voter apathy is because the two-party system doesn't provide voters with enough choices that match their personal political beliefs. Moving to a proportional representation system in the US House of Representatives would create a true multiparty democracy giving real choices to people that would result in a more engaged populace.
