Given that Gerrymandering has produced more and more extreme representatives in congress from both the left and the right;
And given that many of these representatives use their position to espouse lies, conspiracy theories, and generally hamper and prevent congress from doing its job (e.g. Michelle Bachman);
the following amendment to the US Constitution is proposed:
A member of the house of representatives may be recalled if 85% of the whole US votes to oust that representative from office. That representative may seek office in a later term, but for the current term they shall be treated as if they resigned.
