Too many of our politicians are entrenched in office. This leads to lobbyists able to influence campaigns with huge donations to their reelection campaigns over many years.
Setting term limits on both Senators and Representatives, like currently on the President, would help eliminate the influence big money has on our government. Twelve years in a position is enough time to help your constituents yet short enough to prevent the congressmen/women to get cozy fat cat relationships with lobbyists that are detrimental to our government.
