We are asking that the government of the United States of America endorse Johnny Manziel to receive the 2012 Heisman Trophy. Due to his outstanding statistics in total passing yards, completion percentage, total rushing yards, yards per carry, and value to the Texas A&M program. The mission statement of the Heisman award is to "recognize the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity." The statement does not state that age is to be a qualifying or disqualifying factor. Due to the fact that Manziel has formed his outstanding stats against the best defenses in the nation, three out of the five top defenses in the nation included.
