Endorse the use of US Veterans' portraits on Wheaties cereal boxes through ceremonial proclamation or other means.

We ask the President to endorse and encourage General Mills to use portraits of US Military Veterans on their Wheaties brand cereal boxes. We understand the President has no legal authority to compel General Mills to adopt this policy; rather, we ask that the President - in whatever manner is available to him (a letter? a phone call?) - support this effort to honor our veterans through their inclusion on nationally distributed boxes of this iconic American consumer product. (Note: Wheaties will create limited edition boxes honoring fallen heroes on a private basis; this petition seeks to honor both fallen and/or living heroes by including their portraits on nationally distributed boxes of Wheaties cereal, available for purchase by the general public).
