End the war on drugs. The idea of a war on commodities is stupid, It causes the commodity to go underground causing the govt to loose control supporting corruption and terrorist. The proper way is to regulate them like a commodity say beer, tax it heavily, restict its access to minors and heavily control its sale and distribution,bars.
I propose legalizing all substances taxing them at 50% of their current illegal street value and instituting a tax amnesty program of 50%, to bring those funds to the light of day.Sold in Bars. The sales tax rev would be divided as follows: 20% Drug Education, 20% Drug Rehab, 60% Subsidize Medicaid and provide for medically necessary prescriptions.
