The 2nd Amendment was written at a time when the only firearms were black powder single shot muskets. Those writing the 2nd Amendment could not anticipate how firearms would evolve over time. We must stop interpreting and putting a 'modern' spin words that were written hundreds of years ago as we cannot possibly truly know their intention.
The Federal Government MUST enforce the 2nd Amendment. ALL modern firearms MUST be destroyed, and any American may own as many black powder muskets as they want. There is too much gun violence, and only allowing firearms that were around when the 2nd Amendment was written is the only solution.
