enforce all companies that distribute or sell bottled water to distinguish the acidity (pH) of their water.

Created by N.S. on May 03, 2013

At a time when corporations are charging consumers a premium for bottled water, it is only fair we know what we are actually purchasing. Soda has a pH of around 3 (quite acidic); the average bottled water has a pH of 5 or less.

Just like other consumptive goods, consumers should know how much water they are purchasing. A simple pH label or clear indication on the product should be the minimum indicator.
