Enforce the current laws regarding immigration and close the borders to halt illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are taking jobs, tax payer money and increasing the crime rate in America. The immigration reform must first focus on securing our borders and not giving amnesty to illegal (criminal) immigrants. Passing an amnesty bill would only increase the entitlements (handouts) given out by our government which creates more national debt.
