Enforce Art. 2 Sec. 3 of Constitution to force Congress to stay in the Capitol unless a budget is passed on time.

Created by R.T. on May 08, 2013

Year after year, Congress does not pass a budget on time. Currently, that date is October 1st of every year. Congresses main job is to pass a budget of how to spend our tax dollars. It is unacceptable to not have a budget in place and to not authorize the debt ceiling to be raised to accommodate the budget THEY themselves have passed. Art 2, Sec. 3 of the Constitution gives the president the authorization to sequester congress, hold them (at gun point if necessary) in their place of work (Capitol) and force them to uphold their oaths to the Constitution. For them to not do their basic function of passing/debating a budget BEFORE it is due on October 1st, is abrogation of their oath. It is treason. The Constitution gives the President the power to enforce this. Please do this.
