Since the dawn of time (ha!), mankind has noticed various flaws and injustices that seem to take place every day, right before our eyes, yet somehow remain invisible until their discovery. However, we the people, have struggled and succeeded to overcome these challenges that have popped up as we become more and more civilized every day.
I am 13 years old and every second it becomes increasingly crystal clear that all we manage is to achieve and stop. Why do we stop? I urge the government to take that next step in making everyone aware that, well, times are changing. We need to teach this from the elementary level and reinforce it from there on. We must sanction, abolish, and destroy every single angle of discrimination.
